INGREDIENTS :
1 Cup Raw Rice
2 Cups Steamed Rice
1 Cup Urad Dal (Black Gram split)
1 Cup Puffed Rice (Murmure)
½ Cup Beaten Rice (Avalakki/Poha)
METHOD :
Soak both the Rice and Urad Dal for 6 hours. Soak Beaten Rice and Puffed Rice in water for 5 minutes before grinding. Grind all the ingredients together to a smooth batter. Cover and keep overnight in a cool place to ferment.
On a hot tava(griddle) make small (around 5 inches diameter ) thick round Dosas and roast with minimum Oil. Serve hot with Coconut Chutney, Vegetable Kurma or Sagu and Butter.
