INGREDIENTS :

For the Malpua :

½ Cup Maida

½ Cup Khoya (Evaporated Milk)

½ Cup Rava (Suji/Semolina)

2 tsp    Dry Coconut

1 Cup  Milk

1 tsp    Aniseed

Ghee or Oil for deep-frying

 For the Syrup :

4         Cups Water

2         Cups Sugar

 For Garnishing :

 Few Mint leaves

1 tsp    Pista, Sliced

 
METHOD :

To Prepare the Malpua :

Malpua With Ice CreamMix Maida, Semolina, Khoya, Aniseed, Coconut and Milk to a batter.  Heat Ghee in a frying pan and put a spoonful of  batter into it and deep-fry till golden brown.  Repeat for the rest of the batter.  The Malpuas are ready.  Remove and keep aside.

 To Prepare the Syrup :

Prepare syrup by dissolving the Sugar in 4 Cups of water and boil until it becomes slightly thick.  Dip the Malpuas in the Sugar syrup. 

 To Serve :

Remove one Malpua and place it on a Dessert plate, over this place a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and garnish with Pista and Mint leaves and Serve.
