INGREDIENTS :

1 Cup Avalakki/Poha (Beaten Rice)
1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder
½ Cup Desiccated Coconut
½ Cup Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp Cashew nuts, Chopped and Fried in Ghee
1 tbsp Almonds, Chopped and Roasted
2 tbsp Ghee
½ Cup Milk
Few Cherries for decoration

METHOD :

Warm Beaten Rice in a kadai. Cool and powder it. Remove to a bowl. To this add Elaichi Powder, Coconut, Nuts, Sugar and Ghee. Mix well. Adding required quantity of Milk, mix well. Grease palms and take small portions of the mixture and roll into balls (laddoos/unde). Leave it on a tray and let it dry for 2 to 4 hours. Decorate each ball with a Cherry and serve.
