INGREDIENTS :
2 cooking apples
Cooking oats
All-purpose flour
Sugar
Margarine or butter, softened
Ground cinnamon
Method:
Peel and slice 2 medium cooking apples. Divide the apple slices between the custard cups.
Make a topping by mixing 2 tablespoons each of quick-cooking oats, all-purpose flour, packed brown sugar, margarine or butter, softened, and1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Sprinkle mixture over the apples.
Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 5 to 6 minutes or until the apples are tender when poked with a fork.
Using potholders, remove the cups from the microwave.
Let the apples stand uncovered 10 minutes.
Butterscotch Apple Crisp: Stir 1-tablespoon butterscotch-flavored chips into the mixture.
Serve hot or cold, according to your want.
