Specialist have cited common issues like snoring, duvet-hogging etc. can cause rows while sharing the same bed thus robbing one of a peaceful nights sleep.

One study cites that on an average, couples experienced 50% more sleep disturbances if they shared a bed.

Historical trends show that we were never meant to share a bed. The tradition of sharing a bed began with the Industrial revolution, when job driven migrations made towns and cities overcrowded which led to lack of living space.

Spooners though need not heed this study if they already enjoy a restful sleep at night.
