Love
Love hurts...and that too badly!!!
I'm 21 and of late me and my boyfriend are having major understanding crisis. It's like whenever we talk, we end up fighting. I really want to communicate, but it's getting difficult with his attitude. He's running after money and I'm too much focussed on my career. Deep inside we know, we love each other; but perhaps, the distance is ever-widening. How do I get him back?
Look, screwing up what you have is really easy, but staying the same as you were when you met, is the hard task. Your problem is born out of miscommunication or I'd rather say, no communication. Keep your ego's aside and talk. Every relationship needs time. Let him know of your expectations and wants. He wouldn't know if you don't tell him.
You said that he's running after money. At the age that you guys are into, it's common and but natural to be lured by money. But he needs to know when and how to balance between work and home. The same goes for you. Don't ever neglect your relationships and people around you for something, because when no one's around, it'll be these people who would stand by your side.
The novelty of a relationship wearing away is a very natural issue. Everything changes with time. But to keep the essence alive is our job. Set your priorities right. Decide what you want from life. Are you ready to give up everything for him, or move on with a stronger heart. The decision, at the end, is totally yours to love it or lump it..
