Fashion has stepped into our lives right from top to bottom. One rightly gets expressed with the newly-accepted accessory on the block, designer footwear. Footwear just being a necessity was the matter of old times, but now it is more of an element of beauty with newly crafted creativity embedded on them.

Footwears have got a great boom these days with people opting for fashion even in them. “Earlier there were less variety in sandals and ladies didn’t have much choice as well. But now with new fashion coming in they buy footwear depending on the different occasions and matching colours of their sarees,” says Lalji Patel, one of the sales personnel at Style King in Vashi.

Dashing colours with new special embroidery work rightly describes the latest footwear. Right from satin to micro to patila leather, footwear has stepped into all these varieties across the city. The wide spectrum available in the section has even made ladies go mad in the shopping spree which was earlier restricted only to the dresses.

“We have so many choices in sandals as well these days which adds on to the time devoted for shopping these days. Any colour we wish for, we have them in right front of us in different variety. For each occasion we can select in different wears,” says Sneha Patil, a student residing in Nerul, who has different pairs of footwear devoted to different occasions.
